big?

So on more than 972 occasions I have heard "boy, he sure is big for his age" or "He's going to be a BIG man"
Here's my question... is he really THAT big? He seems, to me, that he's just the right size, just perfect...
But really, mom's out there - do you think that he is BIG for his age? I haven't been around TONS of kids his ago nor would I remember even if I had. I also do not remember Jett at that age - thus I know not what I speak of...
KNOCK ON WOOD we have not been to the doctor since his 18 month check up so... I do not know his "status" (( and i don't think they even told me then...?))

Came, Saw, and Left...

Well we are back from Orlando. After walking what seemed to be 972 miles... I am mickey'd out! It took me 26 years to get there and it will probably take another 26 to get me to go again.... Unless my man (either one) wants to go... It was fun, interesting, and tiring... The part I liked the best was the time that Kevin and I got to spend just the two of us. Don't get me wrong, love the little guy (so NO hate mail please) but it was sooooo nice to be just the two of us... However I could have do that with out spending the $2000... but oh well... anyhoo here's some pictures...

yeah yeah yeah, I know - Im late... Just wanted to give a shot out to the grandparents in Buggy's life... He's blessed to have them!

Oh so nice...

I have taken notice that I don't blog much other than on the month birthday's of Buggy... well that's cause I want to save all his new things till then... Anyhoo, Just wanted to blog about what a wonderful night we had the other night... after an afternoon at Grammies (cause I had to run to Wal-Mart after work - Bug + Wal-Mart = WAR) I came home and unloaded, went and got Buggy came home and turned on his movie - what movie you may ask? HOT DOG! ((aka Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)) That kid loves that mouse and dog... anyway this was the FIRST time that I have put on a movie and he actually watched it! long enough for me to get all the dinner cooked without him under foot the whole time... It was SOOOO nice. I don't cook much for that very reason... so who knows, Kevin might get a home cooked meal once or twice a week now... =)

Thanks Disney for MMCH!!! I will be sure to thank Mickey in PERSON in NINE days!!! WhooHooo!!!

So that's it... that's the latest and greatest on my buggy boo...

For the rest of us, Kevin has started his own Landscaping and Lawn Care business. He is doing VERY well in the short time he has been open for business. So far he has several clients and also just got a THREE year contract with Coastal Plains ((yeah, that would be a STATE job)). So PROUD!

He has NOT started as Smith Northview yet, they haven't called him in to do the trading, he has done all the paper work and the CPR class... just waiting on the call. However his business is keeping him very busy. ((Side note: he's not too busy for more work - hint hint =) ))

And if you read the previous post - I AM GOING TO SEE MICKEY!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I can't tell you how excited I am! Kevin and I have never gone on a real vacation (( well not one where a boat, water, and fish weren't involved...))

This is also the first time I have ever really taken off work... I KNOW, I got up and put my "big girl" pants on!!!

HAHA, this picture I took this morning of buggy and his pj's from last night... the ONLY reason I even took a picture and or posting it is cause of a comment Kevin made when he seen buggy dressed like this ((yes, he DOES have matching pj's and 99% of the time he is in them... I was having a moment last night))

Happy Late Birthday Ginny

Yeah, I know... a bit late...

Anyhoo, do to Fay my aunt, uncle and cousins from Jacksonville headed north for safe keeping... Well that was on a Thursday - that Sunday was Ginny's birthday... so the fam decided to throw her a SURPRISE birthday party. We do not get to be at her birthday with her any other time so this was a treat for all....


First was dinner at Sherry's and then on to mama's for the surprise...

Guess what I am getting for my birthday??? A TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD!!!! I have never been and have been wanting to go, so.... My wonderful sugardoodles has planned a trip for JUST the two of us... =) I am SOOOO excited. I can hardly wait ((but I must we aren't going for another couple of weeks...))

What's New...

Well, lets see... Kevin will start to work at Smith Northview PRN soon. He has also started his own business as well as still having his part time job cleaning the car washes... Sooo needless to say, my little sugardoodles is a worker! ((which LITTLE time for Bug and I... =( ))

Athen has just started telling us "no" and he also has learned the art of screaming... we are working on BOTH of those... oh I see lots of time outs and spankings in his future....

Me, well just a working away at the Clerk's Office... we are getting a new scanning system ((getting ANYTHING new up there is a B-I-G deal..)) In which I am sure I will be handling a lot of... so that's exciting...

That's about it for us, just day to day stuff here...

Well, once I get an idea in my pretty little head - it must be executed... that being said... here's is my latest and greatest project, I am very proud! ((btw, I MADE this.... ok well I bought the frame and then had the mat made to my specifications... then I put the words on there and then the pictures... just didn't want anyone to think you could go and BUY this =) ))

A Fun Filled Fourth

We had a GREAT 4th of July... Filled with Food, Family, Fun and Fireworks.

However, The only part of that that was captured on camera was the fireworks part....

Anyway, here's some picture of Athen's FIRST fireworks show.... I was afraid that would be too loud for him ((he doesn't like loud nosies)) but he really liked them, but then didn't understand why he couldn't HAVE them.... oh and plus they didn't start till 9:30 which is an hour and half past his bed time.... you can only imagine...

I too, going private...

I have gone back and forth back and forth on whether or not to make Bug’s Blog “private” On one hand, I can’t believe that I even started one that wasn’t cause of how “odd” I am about having his face and fact out there for the world to see. Then on the other, I know there are random people that I am know that check on him from time to time and will probably stop once I go private… well I have decided that its best for me to make Bug’s blog private. HOWEVER if you would like to continue to see my beautiful Buggy, you can email me and let me know you wish to still view it and I will grant you access to it…

1.Not only does he sleep with a pacie in his mouth, he now has one for each hand as well.
2.Can point to objects in a book and name them ie: “cup” “quack quack” (duck) “ball”
3.Can say “ouch”
4.Knows who you are in a picture
5.OH, knows how to put the key in the 4wheeler
6.turn the key in 4wheeler
7.push the button to crank the 4wheeler
8.and knows how to make it “GO”
9.Spends a lot of time with Dada on 4wheeler (couldn’t have guessed that one, could ya?)
10.knows where his nose, eyes, ears, and mouth is.
11.knows what it means when you say “do you need your hiney (sp?) changed?”
12.does NOT like loud noses
13.He and diezel are BFF’s
14.he will stay quietly in his crib until someone comes to get him (LOVE that kid!)
15.pinches YOU and HE says “ouch”
16.gives you a kiss when you say “Love You”
17.lifts up your shirt and tickles your tummy and says “tickle tickle”
18.Can already give the “Randy Walker look”

Not too much news on the home front... Kevin got word I would say...ummm sometime last week I guess (my weeks run together theses days) that it would be after the first of July before he would hear anything on the job at the doctor's office... I guess that just gives us more time to pray about it....


Bug is chatting up a storm theses days... he can say lots of things... ((I will have to save them for his 19th month old post so I will have 19 "new" things to say about him...))


thats about it, oh and please pray for Kevin and I as we have come to a hard decision concerning some family.

Job...?

Could BE! Kevin is the doctor's office that he had an interview with first pick, HOWEVER (you knew there would be one...) they are not ready to bring anyone (ie: Kevin) in yet cause they are switching to all digital and the equipment has not come in or been set up... with that said... we are waiting...

Buggy news, oh I have a sick baby! Friday mom took him to doctor - Sinus Infection (( I didn't know kids that young could get them...?)) Kinda sickly over the weekend but nothing earth stopping... Monday 3:00 pm comes, phone rings at work... Its Mrs Carolyn.... Bug has a fever, and is shaking... I am out the door and sitting in doctors office by 3:20... They took his temp 103.2 (under the arm) have him med right there in the office... they were not alarmed, me on the other day... BASKET CASE!
Oh, and they believe he may have something like strep and his ears are infected...
For those who are keep track... that is: sinus infection, throat infection of some kind, ear infection, and fever....
Bug you can't keep my little man down... he's a trooper... he even went to daycare today... (thankfully, cause we all work around here...)
However he is yelling right now, so I am going to see out of the 15 million different meds we have for him what to give him next...

1.LOVES to watch Baby Einstein movies “mooov” That’s the only thing he really watches
2.Is more of a daddy’s boy than a mama’s boy
3.Still has a pacie… ((only at bed time))
4.Can drink from a straw
5.HATES to take baths anywhere but at home
6.LOVES diezel…. “dieeeez”
7.Will pretty much eat anything that you put in front of him...
8.Has an 8:00pm bed time
9.Can blow kisses
10.Can say the following words and KNOW that they mean… “more” “cup” “bite” “bye” “nite nite” “Jett” and my FAV “uh-oh”
11.Can really Bust-a-Move, he L-O-V-E-S music
12.Knows what shoes are and where they go…
13.When ever he sees Kevin and I kiss he HAS to give us kisses as well
14.Doesn’t really drink milk anymore
15.Has a TEMPER ((he gets that from his mama))
16.Surprisingly knows his name is “Athen” when hardly any one calls him that…
17.Can work up a sweat in no time
18.Last but not least, He’s PERFECT – flaws and all =)
18 1/2 (thought of another) Bug can't go to sleep if he hasn't seen both of us that day. Sometimes Kevin doesnt' get home till after 8 (aka bed time) buggy will wait up and NOT go to sleep until Kevin comes in and at least spends a few minutes with him, then he's fine, its "ok" to go to sleep... all is right in his world.
