Ha, I really do make myself laugh.

I have been wanting to blog for a while now... however, lazy won out.

Athen is doing and saying so many things that just make me laugh I want to try and remember them but then forget by the time I get to a computer. I downloaded a blogger app for my phone but it either doesn't work OR I don't know how to work it. UGH I was going to use it similar to posting "status updates" on facebook since I no longer participating in facebook. anyhoo.... here we are

I will be posting random pictures. I must say I am not a fan of how blogger does pictures so there will probably be no order or captions with them.... stresses me out.

Athen's new thing is puzzles. He loves them. He can do a 24 and 36 piece out right out of the box by himself. He says the 48 ones are "too hard" He can do most anything on the computer. He is really in to the Boomerang channel. LOVES Scooby-Doo. That is who is going to be for halloween and what he wants for his birthday party ((per his request))

Athen now wears all size 5t's or just 5/6's ((Yes, he is still only 3))

We are planning a trip to go ride Tomas the Train in a couple of weeks. He is super excited. He carries the newspaper ad around and asks if we are going TODAY??

He knows his whole name and his birthday date. He is starting to ask "big boy" questions... like "Mama, everyone else calls you Tiffany, but I call you mama. Why?"

which leads into a conversation about parents and grandparents. We got all the way up to my grandma "Maw" and he asked where her mom was... in which I tried to explain how she is passed away now. And when people die if they live the right life they will go to heaven. "What's heaven" .... me: "Heaven is where Jesus and God live, you know you talk about them in bible class".... Athen: "OHHHHH!!!! *light bulb* Dead people are at church" ........... hmmm, not so much. Haha, funny his reasoning tho!!

BIG NEWS in the Smith house - UNCLE ERIC IS HOME!!! We all were SUPER excited!

Kevin has been working working working.... which is good, but takes him away from home.

We are all moved in and settled at the Clerk's office at work! YAY!!!

Other than that and get ready for some fun weekend evens coming up ie: our annual halloween hay ride that's about all...

I will post pictures and more later... lunch break is over =)

Well the pictures are not in order.... but you get the idea.... Anyhoo looks like its been three months since I blogged. I blame it on Facebook. By the time I sit down to blog its "so yesterday" cause I have already posted it on Facebook... the funny things Athen says and does goes on there and I miss out on putting them on here. Need to do better....

My Friend Leiland

Here are some pictures of Athen and his buddy Leiland. If I am correct Leiland is Athen's 3rd cousin and Athen is Leilands 2nd cousin. I think. ANYWAY, they are best buddies and when Brent and Sharon (Kevin's Uncle and Aunt) come to town we try to get the boys together. They came down (they live in ATL) for Easter weekend. We meet up with them and ate dinner and took the boys to the park. Le brought Athen a Easter basket. He LOVED it!! After spending just a few hours with Le, that was all he talked about at daycare on Monday - His friend Leiland!! Love those boys!! And we love when the Lavendars come to town! Miss you guys!!

We had a marvie Easter weekend. Did the whole egg coloring and hunting thing. Mom cooked lunch Sunday and we did cake for Kevin's birthday (which is today- Happy Birthday Baby!!) HAPPY EASTER 2010

Athen's First Fish!!

Mini Family VaCa

Friday morning Athen and I meet Ninnie, Eric, Jett and headed North to Atlanta. Kevin was already up there with work. Friday we went to Stone Mountain. The boys really thought it was neat to see a BIG mountain like that. We rode up to the top of it - that was Nikki's FAVORITE part There was also still snow on top of the mountain... So Athen got to see real snow for the first time.... He thought that it was 'cool' =)

Then Saturday we went to the Georgia Aquarium. I think we all really enjoyed that. It was pretty neat. After that we went to Discover Mills Mall. Now, when I think of a mall I think of just simple shopping.... yeah, not so much at this one... they had all kinds of things to do. ((Which all cost!! No indoor castle for free play here)) They had this thing where you strap on a harness and jump on a trampoline. Athen did that... he really liked it. We also did glow in the dark putt putt. There was a bounce house in there - but it cost just as much to bounce for only 30 minutes as it does for all day at Money Joes.... so we dropped the big boys off at the golf store and took the little ones to money joes.

That was pretty much all we had time to do and headed back home yesterday (WOOOHOOO)

We had a good time.
